Chirrut Imwe is a human male in his mid-fifties, who has lived on the moon of Jedha for all of his life. Born blind, and lacking the Force sensitivity that would allow him to become a Jedi, he still is a life-long devotee to the Force. He also tends to be a remarkable smartass and, if he says so himself, not a bad shot.
