Chirrut squints at Baze suspiciously (a habit he picked up from Baze's face over the years) and after a long moment, settles back. He feels no shame over his reaction, though he knows that if anything, this problem tends to happen a little more often in the reverse.

It's not his fault. Baze worries like a mother hen with one chick.

"I was not listening. I knew you would do it for us." He admits, giving that face that is more familiar than his own a tap before letting his hands drop.
